Tucked off 301 Blvd in Bradenton, Hi Way Bar isn't trying to be anything it's not. It's a true Florida roadhouse — license plates on the walls, string lights overhead, cold ones on the bar and a crowd of regulars that'll wave you over like they've known you for years.
The locals call it a "5-Star Dive Bar," and the regulars are as much a part of the place as the neon. Folks roll in on bikes and Jeeps, shoot a game of pool, catch the game on the TVs, and stick around for live music when the band sets up out back under the oaks.
